PERMOBIL EXPANDS CORPUS® 3G PRODUCT OFFERING
LEBANON, Tenn. (September 19, 2011) – Permobil, Inc. today announced the revolutionary Corpus 3G seating system will now be available on five of its power wheelchair bases—the C300, C350, C400, C500 and M300.
Originally launched on the M300 and C300 this past spring at the 27th International Seating Symposium, Permobil has expanded the offering to include each type of power wheelchair drive—front-, mid- and rear-wheel.
Created along with the original Corpus designer, world-renowned Swedish seating expert Bengt Engström, the Corpus 3G showcases an array of features exclusive only to Permobil, such as:
- Corpus 3G Ergo Backrest— Follows the contours of the body and offers infinite adjustments for a custom fit
- Dura Core Tilt—Provides up to 50º of tilt with two range selections
- Curved Natural Arc Legrests—Give better support and greater legrest articulation during elevation
- Integrated Cable Management System—Significantly reduces the need for wire ties
"When we first launched the Corpus 3G earlier this year, we knew we wanted to make it available on each type of drive that we manufacture," said Larry Jackson, President of Permobil, Inc. "Comfort should know no bounds, regardless of the kind of wheelchair that suits a user's lifestyle."
